Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 5, 2026
Fuji Bit Inc. ("we") respects user privacy in our mobile app TOKIDOKEI (the "App"). This policy explains what information the App collects, how it is used, where it is stored, and which third parties may receive it.
See also our Data Handling & Deletion page for a plain-language summary of the data we handle and how to delete it.
1. Information We Collect
The App collects the following information. All processing happens on the device. None of it is transmitted to our servers.
- Phone usage time: Obtained via Screen Time API (FamilyControls / DeviceActivity) on iOS, or UsageStatsManager on Android. Includes per-app and per-category usage time.
- In-app data: Crystal earning history, streak counters, daily quest completion, freeze day usage, settings.
- Advertising identifiers (IDFA / GAID): Collected only by the Google AdMob SDK after you grant explicit consent (App Tracking Transparency on iOS; UMP on both iOS and Android).
- Purchase / subscription status: Your Pro (monthly subscription) entitlement. Billing is handled by the App Store / Google Play and is never sent to our servers. The App stores only the entitlement state on-device.
We do not directly collect or hold on our servers any personally identifiable information such as name, address, phone number, or email. Advertising identifiers (IDFA / GAID) are handled by Google AdMob only after you grant consent, as described above. In some jurisdictions, advertising identifiers may be treated as personal information.
2. How We Use the Information
- To provide the App's core features (time visualization, crystal calculation, ranking, notifications)
- To serve in-app advertising via Google AdMob
- For optional iCloud sync (iOS, planned), within the user's own Apple ID across their devices
3. Where Data Is Stored
- By default, all collected information is stored only on the device.
- If iCloud sync is enabled (iOS, planned), the data is shared between your devices through your Apple ID via Apple CloudKit. It is never sent to our servers.
- App-specific usage information from Screen Time API / UsageStatsManager is provided by the OS as opaque tokens for privacy. We have no access to specific app contents or network traffic.
4. Data Retention
- Data stored on the device (usage time, crystal history, settings, etc.) is retained on the device until you delete the App or run "Reset all data" in the in-app Settings. It is never retained on our servers.
- Collection, retention, and deletion of advertising identifiers (IDFA / GAID) follow Google AdMob's policy and your consent state. See Google's Privacy Policy for details.
5. Third-Party Sharing
- Google AdMob: For advertising delivery, the ad SDK independently handles IDFA / GAID and related identifiers. See Google's Privacy Policy for details.
- We do not share data with any other third party.
6. Your Rights & Withdrawing Consent
- You can delete all in-app data at any time from the in-app Settings screen.
- Ad personalization consent (UMP) can be changed or withdrawn at any time from "Settings > Privacy options (ad consent)" inside the App (shown in the EEA, UK, and other applicable regions).
- On iOS, you can deny tracking in the initial App Tracking Transparency (ATT) dialog, or change it any time via "Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking" on your device.
- You can revoke Screen Time API / UsageStatsManager permission at any time from OS settings.
- iCloud sync (planned) can be toggled on or off.
7. Use by Children
The App does not impose an age limit, but if used by anyone under 13, it should be with parental consent. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
8. Changes to This Policy
This policy may be revised in response to legal changes or App updates. Material changes will be announced in the App or on this site.
